He usually prefers to dress in earthtones, common leathers and linens, soft leather boots with stiff soles and heels. It's very rare to see him dress up to any degree. He likes his clothes simple and comfortable.
Short story: Loran is a tall, well-built man from years of hard work during his lifetime. His father was a retired fighter and blacksmith, and Loran grew up learning the value's of being a good fighter and a hard worker.
Unlike his father and mother, Loran was raised in the deep wood, away from most people. As a result, he tends to be quiet around strangers, and even those few he might call friend. Since his parents passing from illness some ten years ago, Loran has taken to wandering the roads. Mostly sleeping and living outdoors, and always seeking what might be found around the next bend in the road he finds himself walking.
The road appeals to him. Like his life, it's simple for the most part, and he likes things that are simple and uncomplicated.
