ooc: Sorry if I gave you the wrong impression, I meant that Mandalore was in the Mandalorian camp on Dxun.
The blade came cleanly out of the massive tree leaving a small gap where the bark and core of the tree once were. With no stable support to keep it balanced, the upper portion of the tree soon began to descend toward the earth. As the tree crashed into the ground it released a loud thud, the last sound it would ever make. The Maalraas jumped at the sound and promptly fled, fearing that it had been the sound of a larger predator. Sauren was safe from the creatures of Dxun, at least for the moment. In the distance a communications relay towered over the trees, giving the hope of civilization at the edge of the brutal forest.

[ooc: Alright, that makes sense, don't know if you read my other post but I ended up going to mandalore and everything. Also, just to clear this up what you see in his appearance is wrong, he has a regular light saber, orange passed down from generations. ]
Sauren relieved at the brief relax quickly composed himself for he knew this area any moment could be lurking again with many creatures like the ones he had scared, not to mention there was a possibility someone may have heard the crash, he doubted it this far outside the base though. He knew his mission, and it wasn't to be here, Sauren was afoot quickly and quietly dashing in the direction of the base, he could sense the force all around him, it was strong, perhaps there really was a Sith lord here, time and patience would tell, he began to suppress his own force signature just in case.

ooc: Yeah I read it. You really got into it. Ooo you got a 3 Trees flew by as Sauren sped through the dark jungle. The sounds of vicious creatures could be heard all around but it seemed that none of them wished to bother trying to catch such quick prey. Though as he began to suppress his signature his focus strayed from the ground in front of him. Such a lapse in focus proved to be quite troubling as Sauren then abruptly tripped on a protruding root, sending him sprawling into a nearby tree. As the tree shuddered, a few Orbalisks were shaken from the tree and fell onto the unfortunate Sauren. Soon they began attaching themselves to their new found host and even more were making their way toward him.

ooc: You don't want me to get to that base do you?
Sauren realized how stupid he must of been to attempt something like that on the move, he realized now perfection was still far out of his reach, but he had to deal with the immediate problem. He knew his lightsaber would be useless, and he had precious little time to think of any other solution, his only choice was to call upon the power of the dark side for help. An unfortunate twist in fate it was. Lighting erupted from his fingertips, blasting away the Orbalisks and undoubtedly alerting someone, considering his close proximity to the base by this time.
Tired from the exertion, Sauren figured it best to retreat for now, no use going into a battle handicapped as he was. He found a nice rotted tree to crawl under, there he focused everything he had left to suppress his signature a second time, he hoped it was successful else he would never complete his mission.

ooc: Lol, nope fate just doesn't want you to get there.
A Mandalorian sentry stood apathetically in a tower along the wall of the Manadalorian base. Today, it seemed, would be another day with only the occasional Cannok or Maalraas. There was no threat to Mandalore that would come from the jungle, he thought, I should be training and preparing. Suddenly he noticed a dim flash of light through the trees, but was happy to assume that it was nothing more than a Cannok that had wandered into a mine.
Sauren managed to suppress his signature with ease now that his thoughts were focused on only one task. For the moment it seemed that he had escaped unoticed and thus a successful mission was still a possiblity.

Sauren camped near the tree for awhile, he was vigilante, he knew these jungles were dangerous, all too well. For the time being he simply recorded in his log the events passed.
[glow=green,2,300]Log: The moon of Dxun, my familiar friend. It's been three years since my last mission here and that was still when I was but a padawan under my master, this place, it gives me chills and brings back memories. I came across a pack of Malraas, and some Orbalisks, needless to say I escaped my life barely intact. I am now in the process of infiltrating the mandalorian base, I hope my efforts are not in vane. It perturbs me greatly, the idea I was forced again to use the dark side, I don't understand why ma[/glow]
Sauren dropped his datapad, he heard something near by.

A large patrol of ten Mandalorians set out from the compound after a more vigilant guard reported a strange flash of light coming from the jungle. Each Mandalorian was armed to the teeth with heavy blaster rifles, side arms, and a few varieties of grenades scattered throughout the group. Such an occurrence in a primitive jungle was strange and in the current time one could only be only too careful. Once reaching the treeline, the group split into pairs and began to scour the nearby area for any irregularities.
The clanking of heavy boots and armor began to move closer and closer to the tree where Sauren lay hidden. Soon two Mandalorians were right on top of the Jedi Shadow and stopped. One knelt to the ground and lifted up a small creature. He waved for the other to join him and they both examined it together. "Orbalisk, and they look fried. There is no sign of charring on the ground or the trees, it wasn't a grenade that did this." Unsure of what this meant, the second man lifted his hand up to his helmet toward his comm.

Sauren reached for his saber, he would need to make this as quick as possible so as not to gather the attention of the base. As the soldier touched his comm he lost his hand in a swift orange blurr, barely giving the others time to think Sauren took out the partner of the former, he turned to face the now handless mandalorian and ended him with a swift beheading, he moved silently on to the rest of the patrol, hoping he could finish this without the alert.

Sauren's footfalls were indistinguishable from the sounds of the jungle around him. Ahead one of the patrols could be heard. "Captain, nothing to report. We will begin making our way back to the rendezvous." Their heavy repeater blasters cradled in their hands, the two Mandalorians began to make their way back to the front of the base. The crunching of foliage was quite noisy underneath their heavy boots and their position was no secret to anyone in vicinity. Then again, what did two well armed Mandalorians have to fear on the Demon Moon?
