Ok, I'm Tcat75. I'm one of the four original members, and if you look over on the side, you see I'm also an Admin.
Now anyway, you've probably found us from one of the many advertisements that we've posted around the internet. So, you get here and you're wondering what to do. Right?
You are allowed to post without logging in. Simply go into the corner, hit 'reply', and type your message, fill out a name in a blank above, and enter the security code. There you are.
Me, Jupiter76 (admin), Shadow (admin), or Elfsrock2004 (admin) will explain the site, answer questions, give examples and help get you started.
Welcome to the Inn! ~Tcat75

Hey everyone. I'm Elf (elfsrock2004). Just thought I'd introduce myself to everyone and say Welcome to The Roleplayer's Inn. And like Cat said feel free to ask about anything. Oh and as a second thought feel free to call me Elf.

I've got a question. Where do we 'claim' our characters? In claim, I mean either selecting a canon character or creating a new one.

Well to 'claim' your character you would just post your bio on the roleplay that the character is for.

Let me elaborate a little on what Elf said. At the beginning of a roleplay, usually we have a biography to fill out. It doesn't have to be too long, but just a little infomation about your weapons, appearance, history, etcetera, and of course, basics like your name and age. Occasionally, we will have a thread where we don't have a bio, but not very often. Besides that, we use namesake charecters. For example, mine is Jana Centura (John-ah Sin-tur-ah). I use him in most futuristic roleplays. Of course, in a modern roleplay, the name might be a little odd, so I won't use it. Basically, I won't make a bio with the name Hiaca (Elf's namesake). Its just corteous. (I know I didnt spell that right.)

I don't have to wonde what to do. I've created multiple sites like this. Sadly, none of them were popular due to poor advertising.

Ello! I'm just wondering of we could put characters from other sites in the archives... And I'm also wondering if that does anything (other than having it as a charcter in the archives) in general to... er... everything? Sorry, I worded that poorly

If I understood you right, the Charecter Archive is for any of your own charecters. Yes, you can put charecters from other sites into your thread. Basically, it saves them incase you want to reuse one in another roleplay, or you want to make one to use in the future. The archive will keep all your chars together so that if a second thread is created, you can easily find and repost your application.
If you have a character in the archive, and someone besides you posts the same or similar character, we will remove that bio, unless s/he has permission.
If I didn't answer your question clearly, just ask me again. I'll do my best to answer.
